Nolan: We Can Finish Strongly
KEVIN NOLAN is confident Wanderers can get themselves out of the Barclays Premier League's bottom reaches and end the season in fine style by claiming a top-ten finish.
The Club captain is a self-confessed optimist but he firmly believes that Wanderers have the talent and desire to turn their campaign around following a disappointing start, which has seen them only pick up one league victory so far.
But the midfielder has acknowledged that since Gary Megson's appointment as manager, the team's performance and confidence levels have improved.
"I certainly believe we'll be in the top ten come the end of the season," enthused the skipper.
"I can see what's been going on over the last couple of weeks and I've seen the quality of players we have here.
"There is a long way to go and I know I am being optimistic but our confidence is back, and once we get a few wins I really believe we'll be in the top ten later in the season."
