De Vere Whites beat off stiff competition from 40 top football venues including Old Trafford, City of Manchester Stadium, Emirates Stadium and Stamford Bridge, to win the prestigious Matchday Hospitality Experience Award at the third annual Official Football Hospitality Awards held at Newcastle United's St James' Park.

These awards are held in recognition of the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events team at every UK football club.

The Matchday Experience Award had been judged by an independent panel of "mystery corporate guests". The criteria including everything from customer service, the matchday experience and the quality of food and beverages served at the stadium on a matchday.

Commenting on winning this prestigious award, De Vere Whites General Manager, Sarah Gander, said:
