Davo Lauds Boss
KEVIN DAVIES has praised manager Gary Megson for turning around Wanderers' on-field fortunes.
When the former midfielder was appointed as manger of the Club in October, Wanderers were at the foot of the table having taken five points from 10 games.
Now, as his side are on the verge of securing their Barclays Premier League status, Davies thinks his manager is due some praise.
"I don't think Gary has been given the acknowledgement he deserves," said Davies.
"He came in and picked up a bunch of lads who were really down at the time. Confidence was probably at rock-bottom and we were rock-bottom of the table.
"Obviously it was going to be a tough job for any manager to come in but he worked hard and lifted the place with his personality and he deserves great credit. Now the players have to make sure that we do our job and do it well on Sunday."
