Cahill Looking For Shut-Out
GARY CAHILL will not be fazed if he lines up against Didier Drogba this afternoon.
The Wanderers defender has already faced the big Ivorian hitman during his Aston Villa days and helped them to grind out a scoreless draw.
He said: "I played against Drogba at Villa and it was 0-0 - I'd take that again on Sunday.
"He's a great player - a handful - but I've done reasonably well against him in the past, and hopefully between me and Andy O'Brien, we can do a job against him on Sunday.
"He's big, strong, quick, his hold-up play is good, he's good in the box because of his size and presence in there.
"When you have the players of the quality around him like he does at Chelsea, crosses will land on your head instead of you having to work harder to get there.
"There's quality around him and all over the pitch and that's why they've got such a strong home record."
Avram Grant's men have remained unbeaten in the league at Stamford Bridge for four seasons, but Cahill is not letting that statistic bother him too much.
"Chelsea's home record takes the pressure of us straightaway," said Cahill.
"Records are there to be broken and sooner or later they are going to lose a game. I wouldn't put it past us with the run that we are on at the moment - to go down there and get a result which is what no one expects.
"Sometimes when you're the underdogs it turns out well in your favour and we're on the back of a good run now. We will be going down there to try and break that record."
The Sheffield born star was full of praise for Andy O'Brien - his partner in the centre of defence.
He added: "I feel that playing alongside Andy O'Brien, with the experience he's got, has helped me come out of my first three months a better player and hopefully we will see that next season."
