The Shrewsbury-born midfielder arrived at the Reebok Stadium on a season-long loan from Wanderers' Barclays Premier League rivals Liverpool.
The youngster spent part of the last campaign with Southampton after being loaned out to get some first team experience. He caught the eye at St Mary's with some impressive performances and will be looking to find a regular berth in Wanderers' starting XI.
