MIKEL ALONSO signed for Bolton Wanderers on a season-long loan deal during the summer.
The Spanish midfielder arrived at the Reebok Stadium from Real Sociedad, who were relegated from La Liga last season, with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.
The 27 year-old - an elder brother of Liverpool midfielder Xabi - impressed manager Sammy Lee during Wanderers' pre-season training camp in Austria.
